Cpl. Nathan Cirillo Memorial Cup Challenge

This Event supports Boots4pups Ottawa Chapter of the Citadel Canine Society’s and the Rideau Canoe Club. Citadel Canine Society provides service dogs and their mission is to train and deliver these dogs to new veterans and first responders dealing with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder or an Operational Stress Injury.

The challenge on Saturday is open to the public. Participants will take part in a four kilometer paddle at  Mooney’s Bay, open to all types of paddle-boats.

Registration on-site will start at 8 am and the first group will start paddling at 9 am. The number of groups will depend on the registration.

You are welcome to bring your own canoe or kayak at a registration fee of $20.00 per person

You can also participate using the Rideau Canoe Club equipment.

  • Registration of two with a RCC canoe (including 2 paddles, 2 life jackets and safety kit) - $60
  • Registration of one with a RCC kayak (including 1 paddle, 1 life jackets and safety kit) - $30
On dragon boats:
  • Registration of 20 for a great team building opportunity on a RCC dragon boat (including paddles, life jackets, steers person and drummer) - $1,000.
