Introduction to Sea Kayaking introduces the novice to paddling a sea kayak in calm, sheltered waters. The focus of this half-day course is to provide skills essential to being comfortable day paddling in a group environment. The course participant will build on their expanding paddling skill set, and be introduced to rescue techniques that incorporate the use of a paddling partner. Participants will be able to use their own boats, paddles, and PFD/lifejackets or those provided by the Club.
