2024 Early Spring Training
Early Spring Training gives athletes the chance to get a head start on their summer canoe/kayak training as winter activities start to wind down. It is a good way to reconnect with your friends at the canoe club and work on your fitness before the on water season starts.
Early Spring is available to members who have participated in the sprint program in the 2023 season: Spring, Summer or Fall, but are NOT currently registered in Winter Training sessions that go until April 28, 2024.
Early Spring Training is available for the following age groups and runs from March 18, 2024 to April 28, 2024:
U14 & U13 (born in 2010- 2011)
U16 & U15 (born in 2008- 2009)
The schedules are as follows:
U14 & U13
March 18- April 28
Monday: 5 pm- 6:30 pm run & outdoor activities
Tuesday: 6 pm- 7:30 pm in the gym
Wednesday: 5 pm- 6:30 pm run & outdoor activities
Thursday: 6 pm- 7:30 pm in the gym
Friday: OFF
Saturday: 10 am- 12 pm run and outdoor activities
Sunday: OFF
U16 & U15:
March 18- April 28
Monday: 4 pm- 6 pm run
Tuesday: 4 pm- 6 pm weights and erg
Wednesday: 4 pm- 6 pm run
Thursday: 4 pm- 6 pm weights and erg
Friday: 4 pm- 6 pm run
Saturday: 8 am- 10:30 am weights and erg
Sunday: OFF
NOTE: The schedule may vary from week to week; the U14 or U16 Coordinator will send out weekly updates with any changes to the schedule.
